Nutrient Separating Baffle Box - Maintenance

Nutrient Separating Baffle Box » Maintenance

Designed for easy maintenance, the Nutrient Separating Baffle Box allows gross solids and sediments to be removed separately. As the screening basket captures and stores the gross solids, trash and debris, and organics in a dry state; pollutants are easily accessible for standard vacuum trucks. The dry state of these pollutants also eliminates the need to remove water from the system during this stage of maintenance.

MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES

Step 2 - Remove gross solids from screening basket.

Step 3 - Hinge open the bottom screen panels to access sedimentation chamber.

Step 4 - Vacuum out sedimentation chamber.
