Flume Filters
The Bio Clean Flume Filter comes in two distinct types:
- The Media Type filter is designed specifically for removing hydrocarbons from sheet flows entering a flume, channel or culvert. This filter holds a series of filter booms that remove contaminants from the passing runoff.
- The Trash Type filter is made to deal with high concentrations of trash and debris from sheet flows entering a flume, channel or culvert. The filter’s basket is removable for easy maintenance.
Both types of flume filters come standard with the Bio Sorb Hydrocarbon Booms that are capable of removing the following pollutants:
- Trash and Debris
- Sediments
- Total suspended solids (TSS)
- Oxygen demanding substances
- Nutrients
- Metals
- Oils and grease including various hydrocarbons
HIGHLIGHT: This filter has demonstrated 87% removal of hydrocarbons through third party independent testing.
The Bio Clean Flume Filters are available in all sizes and can be custom made to fit any size or shape flume, channel or culvert.
